and his name is Swenla.
i've listened to multiple squads rage about how he uses a modded controller or how he hacks their system. and i can understand why (no, as far as i know, he doesn't actually use a modded controller). anything in front of his ScR melts within the first second or two. after facing him many times, i finally got a match where i was on his team, and i was speechless the entire time. anyone he came across was dead before i could take aim.
and he often runs with a really good logi named Crazy Cat Lady. those two make the most beast team i've ever seen.
i've seen a lot of good players and even more FoTM scrubs and only one of them can compare to this guy. and that person, would be a guy in my corp named "that kewl kid", who gets 50+ kills almost every match with a record of 68. i've never played against him in a match, so i can't say that i truly FEAR him. as a matter of fact i've wanted to face him to see just how good he really is.
it takes a lot for me to acknowledge anyone in an assault suit as good, but credit where credit is due. these guys deserve it.
so tell me, who do YOU truly fear? and don't say nobody because you think you are L33T, because you're not.

Who do I fear...
Alone, fearing? Nobody. That's not me trying to be l33t, it's just how I feel. I think I've yet to come across someone who just utterly destroys me, and fear is over-rated in a video game. There are a good few who give me an excellent fight every time, though. People like Jenova Rhapsodos (who's in my corp, which is nice) and a number of people from the SCR registry. Good scouts are always a blast to fight, always making me look around.
I'd also nominate you as a scary opponent - that match I was in with you was great fun!

Well my "rival" has changed over the years. I guess I'd have to say Lea Silencio is the one I'm after right now. King Checkmate and I have been going at it recently, I had respect for him before but recently I've actually gotten a lot more respect for him. really cool thread btw OP

Swenla is a beast, last time I was in squad with him I couldn't even draw a bead on red dots most of the time, they were gone too fast.
As to who I fear? I'm a support Logi I fear anyone when I'm separated from my squad, because even if I had the best gun game (I don't, it's roughly mid range I think) running a support fit means I'll be at a disadvantage in a fire fight anyway (yep, this is true as of 1.7 and has been for a long time.... since around closed beta actually  ). When I'm with my squad I don't fear single players, I fear corps or squads, those who can coordinate often know to kill the logi first (we're squishy, slower than assaults and scouts and we've got the med supplies).
Win or lose tho I've gotta say those hard fought matches where you have to earn every single inch are the reason I keep coming back to Dust (well that and that promise of a deeper sandbox experience as the game develops).
