CCP Please give it to him.
I had to listen to him in squad today wishing repeatedly for one
EDIT:
Why the M249? Gimme an M240B any day over that thing.
I'll take a slower LMG with harder hitting bullets over that bullet hose. (I'm getting this from my BF3 experience)
Nothing says "F**K YOU!" like a direct Flaylock to the face.

I hate to do this to you, but.....
It's effect. Not affect.
Affect is a verb.
Effect is a noun.
The affect would effect you. <---- this will help you never mix these up again
Once again, I'm sorry.....

That gun is projectile, so it would just be another Minmatar weapon. It obviously wouldnt have bullets if its gallente made. it would be the medium to long range weapon that the heavy suit so desperately needs Gallente is all about close range brawling. The Amarr heavy weapon would be more likely to have the range you'd like. Or the Caldari AI heavy weapon.
Gallente Heavy Weapon should cause people to give up in CQC.
"Aww dude, scanner says someone's turning the corner!"
*Gal Heavy with Gal Flamethrower walks in*
"Aw %^$#"

Hence why I recommended the Flamethrower.
It's Plasma based, short range, and will ruin any mercs day.
