Rails should be -10%/+10% shield/armor damage. Caldari use kinetic damage. Also, the rail rifle has this profile, so the railgun should as well. |

Dust is too fast paced to have both different tanking styles as well as weapons with different attributes towards tanking categories. One of the two things should go and I'd say damage profiles are more expendable than tanking styles.
Most of the time, you cannot react to an enemy's tanking style, except maybe as a commando. Why should there be a penalty associated with randomly meeting the wrong enemy? Isn't the fact that you can meet someone with more HP and stronger guns than expected enough of a penalty? |

It already does have that damage profile if I am not mistaken.

Use a dirty Minmatar Projectile Weapon. They do about the same damage to shields and armor.
