I tell you what will happen:
PC district locker, will set the price for everything because they can afford to buy everything with their stolen isk.
BPO & officer all in the hands of 5% of the playerbase.
The market is not yet open but is already broken.
1.8 it's so secret that nobody know what will be in it, even after patch notes...

It was broken when they gave the refunds at the start of Uprising.
Without having seen a penny of PC ISK, I had several hundred mil and I lost about 20 mil of that running full proto, every day, for months and months.
Admittedly now I've joined a PC corp, but it would have been years before that ISK would have come anywhere near running out at that rate.

That helped this, but district locking is more profitable right now, like market hegemony will be more profitable if market opens.

No way. Not cool for those of us that have accumulated ISK in pub matches and by running cheap fits. How about they just remove the PC isk.... I won't believe this can't be done with some database queries and some computer scripts....

Like I said a dozen times, it's likely PC will be overhauled long before the open market arrives and ISK sinks will be implemented to keep ISK flow in check.

Ill just wait until my corp can supply the dusters on the ground with our gear. Officer weapons are seeded at 5k a piece for some reason on eve, but we cant access them to stock up early. I see them maybe jumping up in price a little bit, but I dont mind paying upward to 50k a piece. Im in nullsec anyway.

Lets be honest guys, the way things are going - we might eventually have all the weapons and suits / vehicles and vehicle weapons by the end of the year.
By next year - 2015 we might start to see some changes to PC battles.
2016 - we might start to see some basic pve. Very basic.
2017 - CCP will just start to improve performance, optimise the code and start to iron out bugs in the ground meshes and game code.
After that, they might (probably wont have any playbase left by then) just start to work on a player market.
Lets be honest - al of us realistically hope by the end of this year that most of this stuff will be in but I think we would be kidding ourselves. I would LOVE CCP to prove me wrong and bash out a load of awesome content and fixes by the end of this year. |

do you rely thing the guys runing CCP free-market think tank would just drop us off in to a hole like that ?
as a eve play i know they made F ups befor but this is a small market when you look at it vs eve,s market
the PC lockers will have a edge over other player but look in eve so do null sec players so do w space farmers
and traders best way to win at this is to buy low sell hi ..... where coming to a point in the rood agine in dust where you some of you bunny's will stop playing you will not survive in this new world others like my self who been used to waching are isk to the cent and taking what we can with out giving to much back if anything (aka getting cake)
and some will become the next big thing not because there good at pvp but they can work the market better then anyone.
im not saying its going to be a hard to play game more then it is its just the players who get by as i eirte this and as you read it living on there isk they get from battle then blowing it on stuff they cant replace more then 50 times are the ones that will not be with us in time .
to some it up i dont know what CCP will drop for us in pubs battles and what they are going to add to this but its not the as bad as you make it out to be its only bad for the rely rely rely time 5000 rely bad gamers . not us :)

Not even sure what you mean about LP stores they don't take a lot of ISK, there are no no war decs in dust, there are no sov bills in dust, there is no tax on dust corps. Whoever is feeding you all that BS is probably sitting on a few bil ISK.
