"A guy in a frontline fit killed me with a militia AR. ARs are OP and must be nerfed while the gun I used is obviously UP and must be buffed immediately."
There is no accounting for skill, who saw who first, terrain, who else may have been shooting at you etc... Maybe that militia AR shot you at the same time a sniper hit you, all you see is who killed you and with what, this alone is not enough information to come to the forums and use your anecdote as evidence of how the game is balanced.
Most tankers are like sand people. They frighten easily, but will quickly return...and in greater numbers.

Plus, there is a big difference in what ONE perceives, and something obvious like 16 players in a game all using Flaylocks XD

There are some pretty outstanding cases of Upness within weapon stats alone, for instance I'm pretty sure the scrambler's range is identical to the range of the laser rifle.

If I'm wearing a proto suit and I die to someone wearing a militia suit then it's obvious he was the better player.

Or he happened to get the drop on you or there was combined fire or he's got prof. 5 in AR and has stacked a couple damage mods or maybe he is just better. There are all sorts of reasons why a gun fight can go in your favor or against it, but so many people think their anecdotes are evidence that it just drives me insane.
Tac AR and flaylocks were easily identified as OP because almost everyone was using them and you could not beat them except for picking up one yourself. The back and forth about the new rifles I think is kind of silly because you are seeing them all out on the field and they can be beaten by the other rifles so none of them are severely OP or UP. However, all the rifles are OP against the poor niche weapons.

So all of the matches I've been in where the killfeed was in large majority SB-39's means what about the RR?
