Sebastian awoke. He was cold, and alone.
He felt the rhythmic pulsing of the polarized hull, the impossible silence, and he knew where he was.
Pressing the emergency release, he tried to step out of the cryogenic chamber and felt his legs give way from underneath him. The deck was cold and harsh against his exposed skin and he tried calling out for someone, but all that he was greeted by was the slow hum of technology.

He nodded in acknowledgement of the crew who worked around him. They all averted their eyes as he strode past, not used to being in the presence of their immortal Captain.
