So I dusted off my skinweave HVY suit and busted out a MLT FG (first time I've ever used either one lol)
That **** was good times, I think I'll play around w them a bit more.
I think the best part was blasting a derpship and watching him run for the hills.

They just get a lot more fun the more you skill into them. Been a Forge Gunner since closed beta and still loving it. Even after they nerfed it. Still funny to watch tanks blow up only to get hate mail. Yes even in 1.7 i still blow up many tanks. Actually more now than ever.
With people flocking to tanks without skills (not talking about skill points) its fun to watch them blow up. Though i admit i prefer killing expert tankers more like Charlotte and some of the other tankers.
Remember, tankers have a sweet spot right in the rear. Put a round up the poop shoot and watch them explode.

I love playing with the FG as CQC beast in enclosed areas. You should see the shocked face when someone turns the corner in a building or city only to get one-shot to the body. Paired with a SMG, it's a fairly good combo -- just don't get caught in the open with it. |

I like using a militia heavy and forge gun to kill proto-stompers. OHKing their 200K isk suits with millions of SP investment with my 4K isk suit with no SP investment is great fun.
We want cake and tea.

I like to take a heavy with whatever FG I like at the moment (usually an assault) and an SMG and ride around skirmish matches in an LAV with a scanner. Forge vehicles if I can get a good position on them, SMG single infatry, hack unattended objectives. Take long range forge shots at groups of proto infantry then leave in the LAV. Generally just cause as much confusion and havoc as you can among the enemy without dying much. |

I used to be a dedicated forge gunner but with all the nerfs it's turned into an ok AV weapon. It used to be a fear to tanks but now they laugh, turn on their hardeners and runtime the safety of the redline

forge guns are awesome . im a big fan of caldari tech and love my isafg , my mistress the gatsuns forge gun is a monster  iv rocked forge guns longer than iv tanked , and still love them.
Its gone from suck .....to blow
