I have to agree I followed a heavy yesterday with proto repair, I first repped him as he was nearly dead so he should know I had a good repper but instead of taking advantage and shooting faces he was staying there spinning in circles until he was shot to death |

yep, if you give blue berries a firing line they will throw themselves at it over and over and over again, if you set an uplink they will lead red dots to it.
if you try and rep them they will run away, if you try and pick them up they will bleed out.
blueberries have never heard of flanking, they are like lemmings they have one direction, straight forward.
cover is a mystical thing to blueberries, beyond their comprehension, to them it is better to run at the hmg rather then back away.
it must be nice to be a blueberry, life seems so simple. |

When a match starts they all run to the objective and just stand there like they forgot what to do... they dont hack it they just stand there... you would think they would want the WP's...

There has to be psychological study somewhere that says when you are watching people do something, they look like 20x stupider when you can't hear what they are saying, compared to when they would talk with you. I think we just make up internal dialogues for blue dots that make them seem really stupid. |

and when there's a blueberry RIGHT NEXT to a red hacking an objective and they don't even try to stop him.
i watched a blueberry stare at a guy hacking the objective, then after the red hacks it, the blueberry literally just follows him trying to melee him . needless to say, the blueberry was promptly mowed down (yes, it was a PROTO heavy he tried to melee), i took things into my own hands. but how stupid do you have to be to see 1500+ hit points and try to melee it in a starter fit?

Out of ammo?

could be, though assuming he was, and decided to suicide on a heavy, I'd of chosen to hit him while he was hacking.

Yeah, I can agree that there are some real ******* gems of intelligence playing Dust.
Yesterday, I was running my "Heavywalker" fit and doing my best to shore up the defenses of an objective. There were two Heavies there both within 10m of the objective and I am repping both with a PRO Rep Leash. They're mowing everything that tries to come at the objective down and I'm just raking in Guardians and Triage (and Team Resupply from the Alloteks I dropped). Well, there was a lull in the tide of reddots and what do they do?
One runs one direction, the other runs the opposite.
I chose to stay by the objective since I didn't know which one to follow. I saw one die and the other one came back to the objective fairly quickly. He must've realized that if he wanted all of the heavy treats (ammo from my hives) and triage I was providing, he had to stay at the objective. IIRC, that objective only fell once and it was because we went to clear out the nearby Supply Depot.
I topped the end of match leaderboard that match with 0/1 and 1889 WP. The match had ended fairly quickly and despite the lulls in activity at our chosen letter, we stayed there pretty much the entire match.
I <3 walking heavies. Remember, if your heavy is acting up and chewing up things around your house or pissing on the rugs and whatnot, just call me at 1-888-Heel-Boy (Ext: Who's a Good Heavy?) and I'll walk him to get out all of that pent up aggression. Our pricing is reasonable and we will do our utmost to provide your heavy with the greatest care possible.
We can also be contacted by mail if the phone lines are busy.

Seen this before. Its a classic case of Halo Withdraw. They seem to think the elbow is the most powerful weapon in the gameGǪso sad.
The most OP weapon on the Dust Battle Field:
One good logi, one rep tool, and a heavy.

I think I've had maybe three cases where I suit up as a solo support Logistics and find a random heavy to pair with that knows how to be patient and do point defense. I give supplies, repairs, revives and cover during reload and in return they get to kill and send me all those lovely WP. I do my best to not steal their kills and only shoot those they don't see or don't have time to react to.
Most run off to be Rambo and die.
Yeah, I know I should squad more.

Think of it more like this:
I chose an objective to be my home. I patrolled the edge of my property line with my pet heavy on his leash. Any trespassers we came across, he throated and killed; we then continued to patrol the edge of my property line. We didn't always find trespassers, but the ones we did were handled quickly and efficiently. Therefore my **** stayed safe and my home wasn't robbed.
I am so sorry that we didn't run all over town looking for bad guys and allowing the ones we didn't find to rifle through my drawers and steal my **** like you apparently think we should've.
Long Live Castle Doctrine.
Something else you should remember is that, even with less than 2000 WP, I was on the top of my teams aftermatch battle report.

I did run solo in a dom and had three heavies moving thru my sphere of influence around the point. Ended up going 0/0/0 for 3 500 WPs. Those types of matches are pretty fun as a logi... |
