they make it really hard for me to run around in joke fits
like my plasma cannon
my scrambler/flaylock pistol duelist build
parking gorgons in interesting places and shooting out the gunner seat with a militia rail :P
all my fun hardmode builds i use when i just want to do something stupid and hilarious and make it work.
you proto guys make it really hard to use these things, and theres a wierd mentality that how good you are is directly related to how badly you stomp the other team.
i honestly would get bored if all i did was grab 5 other proto guys and just proto zerged all day every day how on earth do you guys do it? is stomping THAT important to your enjoyment of the game?
this isnt really a gripe so much as just me being curious about the motivattions other players have, personally im good enough that i would rather run around with stupid wildly underpowered fits most of the time just to cure the repetitive nature of grinding in full proto 24/7 and i have no idea how other people can stand to run around in the exact same build and proto suit without losing their minds from the tedium and repetitiveness of it all.
stomping the hell out of newberrys over and over again just does not do anything for me and i would never get better at the game if all i did was run in a ptoto stomp squad simply because it doesnt force you to play at your maximum potential.
i wish i cared about stats as much as you guys... |

I agree, i have all the light weapons in the game and a lot of different suits, only 1 proto (that i never use), it would be boring playing always as a gal logi, so i have min logi, gal and min assault, gal scout, heavy.
I change role after every death, of course i'm not as effective as a specialized scout or heavy or assault, but at least i change my style everytime and i have fun.
1.8 it's so secret that nobody know what will be in it, even after patch notes...

rarely do i proto up . mostly use dren heavy or adv gear . its most upper tier corps ' we need gear based matchs is all . we help growth of this game like no other |

Yeah proto stompers are annoying. If you can run proto suits all day and play skirmish. Take your ass to FW and let us noobs have fun dammit. |
