While I'm waiting for deployment, I often use the start and select menus. The menu is closed automatically when the screen changes to the transition image before battle.
I propose that menus be able to remain open during transition screens. If I'm in the middle of configuring something, then I don't want the menu to be shut down so I can look at the same still image I've seen before every battle.
In fact, never ever close menus automatically, ever. It destroys the continuity of downtime.

I requested this long time ago, and get answer that this can be achieved but required some extreme code writing, and thats why we do not have time for it now. But we will in future. Same as in EVE with jumping thru the jumpgates.
I'm here since may 2012, my EVE alter ego is Nosum Hseebnrido.

Yeah but in EVE they already have stars and the sky and their whole world already loaded. In this instance every single map has to load when you go into it every single time. Long sotry short, yes a lot more complicated coding. Their a little busy right now though trying to make it so that the weapons are easier for you use

Multithreading and presentation layering? Proper UI/manager design from the start would make this a quick implementation.

Ok I was trying to keep my answer short. Yeah it would be cool. However expanding the game is probobly a lot more pressing. Like player markets, Travel, WiS, PvE, integrating mining and ores. Things that will actually develop the game. They made the game look different at least four times now, for what? Yeah new weapons are great but playing on the same maps against the same people with the same guns gets boring!
