Give the AR the RR's hipfire and give the RR the AR's hipfire.
Would make the RR worse at CQC and the AR better at it.

well the RR is definately due for a change it's take then place of the AR as the only gun ever used, and for good reason.
won't hazard a guess to how though, but imo all 4 rifles should be used equally, and if I was to take a guess at the current form it would be something close to
60% RR, 20% CR 10% AR and 10% SR.
RR should be slow fire, high accuracy long range weapon
AR should be a solid all around gun
CR should be short range high burst
SR should be long range strong alpha
what's more all the assault variants further blur the lines and make them even harder to distinguish. remove the assault variants and make the guns unique and strong in their own ways. |

I am not losing 20%-30% range to be "average".
Shield regeneration bonus for Gallente Assault is about as useful as Sharpshooter for Nova Knives.

That is a much better suggestion than increasing the spool time to .5 sec (or higer). The charge time would be the toughest thing to get right...a shade too much much and it's not functional enough for general use which is the baseline of all racial rifles.

How is spread a good thing?
On the RR I can just aim for the upper body and I will get a reliable head shot up to 30M, on the AR I practically have to be kissing them to get reliable hipfire headshot.
