Explosions seem to be the end all be all to every engagement I get into lately.
I duck behind cover because every rifle in the game at least triples my range, then a grenade soars over and BOOM! How could they possibly miss with three 14.4m diameter explosives?
OR some guy runs up behind me, I turn, and am exploded before I can even finish my turn. As it turns out, that beeping sound I heard wasn't a nanohive, but rather a remote explosive planted at my feet and immediately detonated. (Why do those two pieces of equipment have the same sound effect?)
OR I get instakill-sniped by a forge gun.
OR I get instakill-sniped by a railgun.
Even when the explosions miss, the framerate drops to all hell and I can't even engage the enemy when they come running to kill me.
Here's a really sad fact: you might think I would have included the plasma cannon in here, because EXPLOSIONS, but as it turns out I can actually tank a full direct shot from a PlC.

It's the grenade spam that really gets me down.
Sometimes I find a good cover to cover gunfight and it's fun for a bit...
Then a grenade flies and simultaneously everyone decides to throw all of their grenades.
I also find it incredibly aggravating that when you sneak up behind someone their immediate response is often to spam their grenades at you.

This is why I use Minmatar suits, only way I die from a grenade is if its a core grenade. As for other explosives I have enough HP to survive splash, and enough speed to get the hell out.
Armor and Shields are not the same!

It's the invisible remotes on the ground in black corridors that **** me off. So much for our HUD.
