I hope we will.
LAVs are cheap but thieves are behind every corner, they are also a bit too tough to be free.
I think about a vehicle:
-With 2 seats (because with only 1 seat people will spam them)
-AV should 1shot it (because it's free, you have to let free space for other vehicles)
-Pilot and passenger should be exposed to weapon fire (because you will use it only to move not to attack)
-It should behave like a dropship that gives you a couple of seconds before the explosion ( the AV need to stop it but not get a super-EZ kill, of course pilot/passenger should be damaged)
1.8 it's so secret that nobody know what will be in it, even after patch notes...

Only thing needed is the lock system to be ready.
What CCP did in the last update was actually a setback.
Eitherway, until a lock system comes, i always recall it.

You should edit your OP. You can kill pilot and passenger while they are in the LAV. Done it many times before-its hilarious. They drive straight at you and then headshot deathbell as you see their avatar stand up straight in the air and then fall to the ground.

I know you can kill them, but the LAV is really a good protection against light weapons, you can't deny that.
I mean a vehicle where you are almost totally exposed, not only your head.

Other than the driver and passenger being more exposed you basically just described an LAV. Don't see the point in adding another light vehicle when we already have one that works just fine. Game mechanics should be fixed before the addition of things we already have a distinct version of. |

yea you really have to aim well to get them, usually an AR works better for the scenario mentioned. But I understand what you're saying now.

No, tell me how you can 1 shot a LAV? Probabily with a damage modded rail or a proto breach FG.
I mean that a single AV nades should destroy this free MLT vehicle.
LAVs explode instantly when you destroy them.

Damage modded particle cannon works for Cal ones, breach does too. I don't think it's possible for a Gal one to be OHKO.
Happily printing ISK with permahardeners and MLT blasters.
Just let me get a couple mil more before nerf, CCP!
