I just couldn't do it, you guys. I didn't leave myself enough time.
Capped two characters, but got the third only to 2/3 the way. I hoped I could blitz him on the last day, but alas, even farming turret kills, I just couldn't get there in time. I burned through a lot of gunnlogis on this last guy, though, so I know I gave plenty of people a nice 1000sp bonus. (Also found out the hard way about the shield booster bug).
And yes, I did make a lot of consessions this week in order to accomplish this.
I do, however, feel as if I know this game a lot more intimately now then I did before. Found a lot of bugs. Saw a lot of familiar forum faces. I laughed, I cried, I cursed the heavens.
I can now say that I know Dust 514.
And saying that, I need a goddamn break.
I contribute nothing.

I tried capping this character. I gave up with 200k left. I've had enough grinding for one lifetime.
I think I'll just go ahead and lose out on significant amounts of SP from now on. Caring takes too much work, and saps all the fun out of playing.

The best way to cap out is through Domination; you get the most WPGÇÖs in a decent amount of time, which will affect the amount of SP gained per match.
Also make sure your squad lead.

lol Well, for COVERT it was fun. He's a rookie scout with a whopping 1.5 million SP. I've been logi since E3 build and I made COVERT to be my Minmatar RP character. I had so much fun, liberated from the slow ass logi suit and set free in skirmish. Running around in the Minmatar light frame, combat rifle and SMG, it was a very rewarding experience.

I actually kind of liked that time limit seeing if I could cap out by the end of the week. Made me try a lot harder in matches nearing the end was getting crazy amounts of SP when squading with some friends. Now I just can't look at my unallocated SP otherwise I'll want to spend it lol, must have that amarr commando!!! Thanks CCP for the event!!!

I capped 2 characters over the event, ground out 300K on my main yesterday (thank goodness for the extreme cold getting my work called off the last 2 days). CCP literally broke my ass
Most tankers are like sand people. They frighten easily, but will quickly return...and in greater numbers.

Michael was capped out early Sunday morning. I wanted to get to my other characters (wishful thinking) but I just didn't have the time. Every pocket of free time I had, I rushed into Dust, queued up a Domination match and went to work. I missed the last event, so I made sure to not miss the bonus SP this time.

I have five characters, so I prioritized them by which needed the SP most for short-term viability. Have about 100k left on one (month-old Min Scout), 250k on the next (my main), 350kish (4.5M SP Commando), 500k on the two least important (the two "ethnic" alts permanently on passive for 1.8).
It's still too damn much Dust. |

Yeah, can't be bothered capping my main, let alone an alt. Still got like 280k left, so I'm still better off than usual by far. As such, who cares?
Not like there's much to do with SP at 28M...
Happily printing ISK with permahardeners and MLT blasters.
Just let me get a couple mil more before nerf, CCP!

That was enough to make me not want to touch this flopping piece of **** again til at least 1.8 and give up the forums so I don't have to hear about all of this stupid **** again for a while.
My goal is to get hooked on something else and forget this game ever happened.
