As one of the few proud Commando users, I'm happy to have achieved my personal best result a few hours ago on Domination mode. I'd like to share this epic moment with the community:
45/8/8, longest killing streak was 23. (Photos below)
I ran Advanced Commando with basic RR/CR
o7 to all the fellow Commandoes out there

Very nice! Too bad it wouldn't qualify for the Commando Challenge or else you could have been the score to beat for 70 million ISK. That would of been a score of 215.92 in our competition

Btw it's Commandoes and not "Comanndos" as you spelled it.

I didn't call it OP, just a really good rifle. Not to mention the comanndo suit is...just kind of sucky.
But I accept the challenge, so long as you don't object to "Imperial" suits.

Yeah cool. Btw, why don't u sign up for the "Commando challenge" and really show your skills with aforementioned suit? Eventually your efforts could net you 60-70 Mill ISK. Just look up this thread https://forums.dust514.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=138823

No challenge for me, too much stress.
Went 17-2 with a advanced rifle and a PLC.
Just using a STD commando suit, so I figured it would be ok. Thought I would drop down to a STD rifle.

Well, I have to concede defeat.
Not once was I able to pass 17 kills in a match, let alone get 48. Good on ya.
Though RR/PLC is really fun :)

Everytime I use the commando it reminds me why I dont use it.
Its slow, its expensive, its hitbox is a total magnet to the aim assist bullet magnet using DS3 users and I cannot compete in it. (I cant compete anyway using KB/M anymore)
I will just stick in my tanks where I am actually a threat. |

It just takes some time to get used to the pros and cons of Comm. But once your core skillz are capped (shields, armor, cpu...), it's quite a viable alternative to other "slayer suits"IMO.
Apart from this, the Comm fit I mostly run , and do kinda good with is like 30K, so it isn't that expensive compared to other setups.
If u love the Commando, it loves u back :)
