smart deploy is for lack of a better word nor phrase F****** ********. we got boxed in and even with no drop becons we just kept spawning and dieing because of how stupid the "smart deploy" is... nothing but spawn and die from beind shot from several directions at once by Effin proto stompers
CCP please improve the IQ of "Smart Deploy" insted of it just being like "shooting fish in a barrel"

As an avid fan/irredeemable masochist of Ambush, I feel your pain. No game mode should be won or lost because the spawn mechanics melted for thirty seconds and dropped your entire team in front of two blaster sicas three times over.
And that's not even a joke. That happens. A lot.
What does CCP have to say on this fun-murdering mechanic?

Can we just go back to spawning at locations on either side of the map? Seriously, the people who whined that they had to "run too far" are just idiots, and I have to suspect , seriously regret their actions.

or maybe just have a smart deployment spawn you 100 to 200m away from where you died if you die 2 times in a row with in a short amount of time, instead of on an active spawn beacon that is being camped by every one...
better yet.. remove spawning on beacons if you DO NOT choose to do so.. ie. click smart deploy = spawn on squad leader or random place with in 300 to 400m of the center of the map instead of clicking smart deploy and it chooses a beacon even though you could have manually chosen the beacon and pressed X for deploy

i think people were just too stupid to use beacons or have a loadout with them in.. i mean is it really that hard to have a setup designed for ambush?

Needs to be done, because you can even be boxed in from the start of the game, removing any chance of getting a spawn uplink anywhere useful... Currently my ambush plan begins with running away just to try and avoid the boxing in... But in matches that have already started, this can get quite costly (and boring.) |

agree, i do the same i get a FOB and a fallback uplink up and if i get spawncamped i just use startup gear and suck it up :/

blame the blueberry that drops an uplink in ambush. Then blame nyan san for camping them with 5 tanks.
