Run multiple rolls every match?
I have three phases before I can even start fighting. First I run droplinks. I then suicide and switch to nanos and drop them all in my nest. I suicide again and pull out my forge.
One thing I've learned is, if you want something done right, do it yourself. Matches don't last long anymore. Time is money.

Me, and I always have.
Lately, I've been switching between a support scout and a killing scout all the time.
If I want to bring out a dropship, I usually call in a MLT rail tank first to swat all the redline rails/missiles.

Same here.
Deploy speed tanked Scout with Uplinks.
Go for central interior objective, dropping links along the way.
Get to a Supply Depot (or get 1-shot-dropped by anything.)
Switch to Logi. Drop more links, build a hive.
Back to Depot.
Switch to HMG and it's time to boogie.

Me I run adv heavy, ass, logi and scout in pubs.
Fun to switch things up sometimes and then sometimes I have to switch things up whether I like it or not because other people are not playing the roles needed. The life of solo player need to carry your team somehow

why do you not just run a std logi suit which can carry uplinks aswell as Nanohives?
that would save you one phase(& time & one death also)? |

I ALWAYS run multi roles. Its the only way to have a good time and make WP's at the same time.
Also has the added benefit of messing with the red berry's when they expect you to show up in another scout and low and behold, He's in a Heavy. LOL

I start almost every battle with my scout + uplink build (unless I can find a spot to cover/deny nodes with a sniper rifle) and hack the closest node. I'll then place the uplink somewhere in the vicinity and, depending upon the battle map, I'll switch between a defensive scout, heavy or cheap medium build. If the situation calls for it, I'll switch to an anti-tank build.
Life is killing me.

My sever logi is free. Plus the ships shoot out the links. Its just a habit now. |

I can run every Amarrian Suit and weapon reasonably well and then Tanks....proper tanks...as well

I have been running amarr logi in I gunlogi. Lots of WP. I can also make av/sniper nests. I can also hack stuff tanks are expendable so I don't feel bad if I get killed while hacking. It gives me 200 more WP when I put down my own tank.

A d I run. Mostly ambush so I usually stick one suit for. Most of a match.
Rail rifle for balance fights.
