With the arrival of many new racial suits and guns, I propose that we see what else CCP can crank out in 1.8. As a result, first posters, post your topics. If you agree with those people, then simply like their post. We need to keep this from becoming 20 pages of stuff that CCP will never see. So for example, if someone (and someone will say RESPEC), just like it. If it isn't up there, you may post. If something someone says a bad, ignore it, don't like it. It will show the Devs the majority don't want what that person wants.
Mercs, get typing.
CCP, will you accept the challenge to add at least two of the most liked things on this list into 1.8? THX for everything. |

For 1.8 I want Prototype suits to be expensive again. A PRO Suit + PRO Weapon and fully fitted slots should run you 400-600K ISK. Remember Chromosome, when you would acknowlendge when someone was running Proto? Now everyone ALWAYS runs it. It should be rare again.

I completely agree with that, I miss when Proto was rare and feared, Rare because it was ungodly expensive and feared because any ******* willing to run their proto was crazy as hell.
Also bump the price of tanks back high where if you ran your tank, If you lose that thing, you will be negative isk for several matches. making people actually have to worry about losing their tanks instead of just spamming them in.
Thats true risk reward right there. The extreme risk of losing a ton of isk if you die, but the reward for surviving is that your tank is badass and can get you a ton of points. and same goes with the proto fittings

Due to the existence of a full racial non-pilot dropsuit loadout, as well as most racial weapons, I propose the following rather easily implemented idea:
For the NPE:
- Militia of everything
- Racially aligned starter fits (Rifle, sidearm, equipment, etc. - Grenades should likely be an exception)
- Basic and advanced CR in Minmatar LP store (I am at a loss as to why that isn't already the case)
Optional refinement:
- 2 slot semi-logi instead of medium suit for the starter "medic" loadout (rep tool + nanite injector)
This will give new players a feeling that their chosen race actually matters and introduce them to each race's playstyles.
The logi idea is to make the medic more of a medic and less of an assault with the ability to grief team mates. Unfortunately, introducing any starter fit that isn't a medium suit is a slippery slope. I don't think that anyone wants a Caldari heavy starter with Forge Guns or unlimited Minmatar HMG works. |
