Based upon some fits I've been messing around with here, I would say the Gallente Commando. Of course, that is if you really want to continue and use the assault rifle.

Matari Commando.
A Built-In Complex Damage Mod for Swarm Launchers, while also being able to carry it anywhere, AND have another Light Weapon. 
But you can also use the bonus on Combat Rifles and Mass Drivers if you want.

I want the Caldari commando, they seem to be the best "all around" suits atm.....but gallente will be terror....stacking Dmg mods and armour as always

Gallente only gets 1 high even at proto, so can't stack damage mods.

unless they goto the gym and loose 10 pounds, their gonna have issues in most infantry fights. but i'd love to be wrong and they end up being the FOTM. |

I'm more concerned what the caldari commando will do for snipers. Complex damage buff plus the ability to hold amo and a AR type weapon for personal defense.
....actually now that I think about it maybe we'll see more snipers outside the redline now.....second thought that's wishfully thinking.

Not a bad thought Carrim. Just think how often people are in the larger urban sockets and some punks are sniping down. Spawning in a Medium Frame Sniper Fit isn't so hot since you'll be reduced to using a crappy sidearm against the big-four rifles, HMGs, and shotguns. But a sniper rifle & rail rifle with innate Frame damage bonuses. Looks pretty sexy from where I'm sitting.

I'd say go caldari if you are a sniper or a rail rifle guy. I like long range warfare, so I'll go caldari.

Even stacking 1 Dmg mod is pretty bad, considering they get a free one at lvl 5

Depends on the role you plan on playing in it.
Minmatar and gallante will get a bonus to AV, Caldari will be king of long range.
Amarr will be useful for 2 scrambler rifles.
