Why do some people feel like Minmatar Scout is UP?

The Minlogi could equip nova knives and kincats to get the same speed, while also carrying equipment, more hp, and more CPU/PG, with a sweet completely free hacking bonus/complex armor repper to boot. The scout isn't bad, just the logi is better. This is a signature.

Because you have to wait for people to not pay attention or be idiots before you can use the suit to its full advantage. Not saying the suit is worthless, I've seen many great Matari scouts. The Minmatar Scout for example can be a great frontlines suit, but everyone is convinced that up tanking is wrong on Minmatar Scouts, even though it works. You could prove nearly any argument for balance or against in a pub match scenario... 95% of what people get or base their opinions is a public match. and should be disregarded.

Because its shield stats aren't great for a scout, and almost any good fit usually requires some sort of capacity upgrade. Proto weapons are a no-no, and even at proto with three extenders & moving at full speed, you can be dropped in the blink of an eye by any half decent rifle user. No.

But I only really have fun in an M/1. I am finding I have fun in an M-1 as well. I don't enjoy the current Mk.0 because for the huge expense, there isn't much performance gain to justify it. It's all really about the knives tho. I just don't have as much fun shooting people. Btw, you Re Re'd a heavy I was about to stab the other day GG You gotta hustle if you wanna make a dolla

People are just obsessed with armor and don't feel safe wothout HP. I prefer glass cannon myself

I saw "Light Frame" and speed came to mind. Plus, I was Gallente so I thought it'd be cool if I stick with my race.

You are now faster than a minmitar scout, have more HP, do more damage (unless the minmitar uses knives), have same profile, more scan radius, and can fit a cloak and a weapon, while the minmitar scout must choose between the two. A minmitar scout must equip 2x kin cats, a profile dampener, and 3x shield mods to be anywhere close to the gal scout, and now it doesn't have enough pg to fit a basic cloak, a stable scanner, and anything more than a basic scrambler pistol as a weapon, while the gallant can fit a cloak, an adv shotgun, and an SMG using the previously stated fitting.
