Intead of making changes to damage mods and weapons including proficiency which might upset some people demanding a respec, why noy buff every suit with maybe 20% more hp? It should also be a lot easier to do that instead of changing damage for possibly every weapon. What do you guys thinks? Of course this is just an idea and everyone is entitled to your own opinion. |

Doing this WOULD change every weapon.
The balance (such as it is) is not designed around heavy suits with 2200 EHP, or logis with 1200, or whatever. Weapons would require reworking nonetheless.
Only the high-DPS weapons would be viable.
Happily printing ISK with permahardeners and MLT blasters.
Just let me get a couple mil more before nerf, CCP!

Because lot of weapons DON'T have TTK problem. Only the ones that was affected by hit detection is a problem for tTk
We can't just buff Hp of suits. Weapons inbalance will even be bigger.
Actual OP weapons will still be viable while the others will be useless.
We need a major rework : Sorry. |

DMG mod are the issue: Try the scrambler with and without a stacked armor tanker. See how a weapon become from balanced to OP
Once you try "HMG-FAT" you never get back...

CCP has already answered this: they are more concerned about the return to the strafe dance and constant reloading than too short of a TTK. They agree that an overly short TTK is not good but simple, sweeping changes, such as buffering all HP is not good either. I think you'll see them adjusting small things in small amounts to gradually dial in combat times and survivability.
Many people have already adjusted their tactics and engagements are longer. However, if you are caught in the open or rush your enemy then chances are you'll be gunned down.

All high Alpha weapons such as the Sniper Rifle, Shot Gun, Nova Knives, Mas Drive, grenades, Remote Explosives, etc would have to be buffed, but on the up side, it would mean CCP could leave the automatic weapons alone for the most part.
