They are amazing to walk around a corner with on an unsuspecting dingleberry and kill him in one burst. The lulz are aplenty

Burst HMG has it's uses, but it's definitely not for me.
Shield regeneration bonus for Gallente Assault is about as useful as Sharpshooter for Nova Knives.

Well once on Line Harvest there was this LAV Heavy driving around. Guess he though'd it'd be a good idea to try and take me. He drives up, gets out, and we fire at each other for like a second. Him popping out of nowhere caught me off gaurd so my aiming was a bit off. I managed to scare him though and he jumped back in his LAV. "Big mistake. BIG GODDAMN MISTAKE!" I yelled as I emptied a single burst of my Six Kin into his stupid stationary head. "THOUGHT YOU COULD GET AWAY? YOU THOUGHT WRONG!"
FIRE UP THE HEAVY MEAT GRINDER! WE'RE HAVIN' CLONE BURGERS TONIGHT, BOYS!

Higher damage compression than the standard, you can beat most standard hmgers one on one with it if your aim is good. While the amount of bullets to kill each other is about the same, the burst will reach those number of bullets FAR faster. This of course comes at the cost of higher down time.

Burst HMGs are scary. I never expect them and if they're on target it might as well be a shotgun to the face.

I have a good memory a few months back of this time I ran across an advanced sentinel using the proto burst HMG. It was on Iron Delta with the Caldari Orbital Artillery. The dude was pretty crazy, melted anyone just by looking at him. Needless to say, I stuck by his side and followed him wherever he wanted to go.
