I hacked an enemy vehicle, set three remote explosives on the front and drove into an enemy occupied building, as they started to come out and everything blew up and I got a -50, only been playing 3 months but have never seen that. I have killed myself plenty of times by accident though. Can anyone tell me what I did there?
Maybe a squad mate helped me hack it and it registered him as the owner flag? then I basically blew up my own squad's gear? I don't know.... no it Public anyways. I thought I couldn't enter a squadmates driver side for a certain amount of secs anyways and this was all after it had been hacked. Anyone ever see this? |

YouGÇÖll often see it happen at the start of a match where people are calling in vehicles and youGÇÖll see a blue just standing there to get squished by the RDV dropping in that said vehicle.
In your case however you mostly likely has a blue very close to you with little health and got caught in the AOE explosion that the remotes did when they popped; resulting in the -50 you saw.
Its rare but it happens.

Make sense now, the explosives didn't do anything, but when the vehicle blew up, the splash damage must have hit someone next to it. I forgot when vehicles go up they do indiscriminate splash damage.

you can get negative points by killing a DS just before it's hacked by a friendly too if I remember correctly.

It's possible to TK in pubs by the method Royal mentioned.
I got an assist in a pub match by shooting a blue (for no damage) before he died in the enemy red zone. It was weird, but odd things happen.
This was a long time ago, and I haven't been able to get it to happen again so I guess they must have fixed it.
Try to kill it all you want CCP, I still <3 my laser.
