I would pay for the disk. $60 standard price...
I'm not mad at my PS3, I'm mad at Dust, and want to microwave it without collateral damage.

Dust leaves a save file on the system, right? (I've never actually checked)
Buy a bunch of cheap flash drives, transfer the save to the flash drives, and get a hammer.
1.8 can't get here soon enough.

You could transfer the files to a computer and then burn them onto a disk and THEN microwave it.
