A scout/heavy only respec would hurt fresh logi/assault players really bad as they may have specialized in on particular equipment (due to lack of SP) and now they maybe can't get any usage from their bonus. Thats not right. And remember not every logi was or is a slayer logi...

I think most of these "conversations" stem from people not understanding that many players pain stakingly plan out every tiny little bit of their builds. They sit down with fitting calculators, pour over every single module, compare multiple fits and skill assignments, all to get that one build that they love. So, when sweeping changes like these come through, skilled players often feel ripped off because now they can't spend their hard earned SP properly, and are instead left praying that CCPs changes don't entirely neuter months of hard work and planning. Less constructively speaking: Role players butthurt that skilled players might retain the advantages given to them through their own skill and careful planning. Uhm, why? That's pretty much the only reason why I specced in min logi. I don't give a crap about "new shiny heavies" or anything like that. I just want to be able to respec into the suit bonuses that were advertised. If that means I have to respec my points into Min scout instead of Min logi, then fine. All I care about is to retain the hacking bonus I grinded like crazy for. Why does that make me "awful"? You and the OP are more awful. Your re-tarded "no respec"-policy is based purely on some kind of desire for revenge against the fact that your suits got nerfed before, or because you got buttraped by too many slayer logis who ended up being more powerful than assault. But you know what? I've never been a slayer logi. 70 % of all modules I use are for hacking, running faster etc. And 90 % of the time I run basic logi suits (never advanced or prototype simply because I find them too expensive for the job at hand) Get off my back you grinches!
