Many people are asking why the caldari heavy shield delay takes just one second to kick in. This is a simple matter to review. It take the Caldari heavy 4 seconds for the "not fully depleted recharge" to start. Having no way for a logi to give support to a caldari heavy at this moment, having a sort of booster charge start is actually a good mechanic. Also taking into consideration that, in my opinion, the shield repair amount is not that exaggerated. I find it balanced till shown otherwise via in game experience against the mechanic.

As a Heavy My concern come from Scrubs.
I'm looking at the Cal.Heavy to made an effective Forger. I think 1 sec rec is right.
I fear that scrubs may start using AR on that suit, forcing CCP to nerf it later.
Once you try "HMG-FAT" you never get back...

Makes no sense that its backwards to all the others with depleted being shorter than nearly depleted. With a shield recharger (or whatever its called) the shield fully depleted delay is faster than the ROF on my MD lol.

I was under the impression that you add shield_delay + depleted_delay together when working out how long it takes for shields to start repairing from zero?

Nope. My Gunnlogu takes 10s to begin recharge from depleted, not 14s. Still feels like forever, though...
Happily printing ISK with permahardeners and MLT blasters.
Just let me get a couple mil more before nerf, CCP!
