G-scout:
Had to get rid of my comp kin cat and equip a comp CPU upgrade, in order fit a comp cloak on my gk.0. I thought these things were supposed to be cheap for scouts? *shrugs*
Question:
Am i reading that right; Is that a 25% reduction to profile? So, equipping a cloak is also like having a comp Dampener? Ok I'm game.
On a side note:
The focused scanner is only 20 dB now.

On a side note the focused scanner is only 20 dB now. Minnie scout has to put a complex PG to fit it. No matter what i think every suit is going to have to an upgrade to fit it. I'm fine with it as I have a CPU upgrade currently in one of my low slots. In the new build it'll just be swapped out for a PG upgrade.
Nah, still had to give up my kin cat for the CPU chip. There's no way I'm giving up my allotek nano. There probably be there build I have with it though

So, if this is correct, then that means that the Gal focused scanner will be scanning at 15 dB, and in order to beat that, a Gal scout would have to equip any cloak and a comp dampener, or two comp dampeners, giving a Gal scout a profile of 14.26, and only a cloak of comp dampener to beat a focused scanner held by any other suit, for a scan profile of 18.22.
This seems fair.

I'm wondering, will it work like stamina, or will it have some kind of activation/deactivation cost. If I decloak after 20 seconds of being cloaked does that mean that I can immediately recloak to use the remaining 60 seconds.

{edit>>> Ooo, scratch that first one, for got to do the math with the new CPU/pg stats. Do one even need a proto cloak? As a G scout you go in there do your **** and hit cloak and relocate... The basic will do that 4 you
I spend a lot of time at the backs of large groups of reds, picking them off one at a time. Some times I spend minutes on end in the same general location, killing the ones that straggle outside the group vision. Once I am spotted usually only one or two come after me the first or second time. It is only when the group gets so pissed off at me, and decides to focus all their attention on me, or decides that that particular position is not worth dealing with me that I feel the need to move on. My intention for the cloak is to use it to be able to better bait the players that come after me, so I'll need as much as I can get.

And you need more then 30sec to do that ? 30 sec I can sprint like 400 meters or so. I rather have the faster cool down so I can fire it of again and again. Oh well we al will c what tactics comes out of this =ƒÿ£
Some people are pretty slow a tracking me down, or moving far enough away from the group to where I can kill them without notice. Plus, some times I bet swarmed by a very angry group of 8 to 10 reds all coming at me from a 180 degree angle. May not sound like it but some times this is tough to escape from. It'd be great if I could effectively wait this mob out invisible in some obscure corner, maybe even kill a few mor while they look for me.
