Yes he topped the board in WP with 5 kills 9 deaths but ... his team got absolutely slaughtered and this is before the days of proto squads stomping new players .. this is back when all things were pretty much equal .. no aim assist ... etc etc

(I figured alot of people have had enough of him saying that tanks are fine and just generally being a bit of an arrogant sod so bask in his infantry skillz .. they are hilarious xD)

Amusing as it is, and as sick of him as I am...
This is kind of equally sad.
Also, my gungame personally is infinitely better than it was in Chromo, so there's that too.
Happily printing ISK with permahardeners and MLT blasters.
Just let me get a couple mil more before nerf, CCP!

Anyone can cherry pick a match or 2 of anyone in the game not doing well, especially if you're looking at something from almost a year back.
This might be why my gungamr is better than in Chromo :P more SP in guns versus vehicles.

While I dislike Tankahiro as much as the next guy, I can't really take this video seriously.
For one, it's just one individual match. And it's really, really old. Everyone has a bad game every now and then.
He doesn't even specialize in infantry, so how could you expect him to do well as one?
Along with that, does it really matter? I can almost guarantee that Tankahiro has 0 f*cks to give about this.
Also; WP>Kills. Always.

How many patches have been out? how much has the gameplay changed? how much has DUST changed?
Hell i cant even remember what i was skilled into back then, maybe tanks i dunno, maybe i was using my lolBPO suits because why not and because tanks were costing millions back then

Not really, also infantry and tank skills were partially mixed in chromo.

A lot of the best tankers are lacking in the gun game. It's why we tank. You can say, "oh, well tanking doesn't require skill." and for smashing infantry, you're right, but when you go up against other high caliber tankers, it's easy to tell who the real tankers are and who the people who have tank fittings are.

I didn't say this video is representative of how you perform as infantry now it is just a video of you playing the game as infantry badly ..

I think everyone has missed the point of the thread .. I was watching the video coz I was reminiscing about the caldari prime event and noticed Takahiro actually as an infantryman on the enemy team and posted it on the forums
It's like finding a picture of a friend in a yearbook 20 years later and showing everyone you know and having a laugh .. although I obviously don't consider Takahiro a friend .. lol |

Same here. I'm a vastly better shot. I dreamt of going 20/2 in games. And now I can pull that off every so often.
