Greetings Bunnies, Today I'm Announcing a bit of fun. For February I'm feeling a bit generous. So I'm running a give away. For the month of February, every week I will be giving away 12.5m isk to the Top Merc to post during that week for the selected score on www.dust514stats.com. I know it's not a lot, but hey, it's a bit of fun.
OK Rules, because there are always rules. Each week will have a different Score for the prize, to enter each week you must update during that week. Week's are defined as a seven day period beginning on the first of February and continuing as shown below. All entries will be verified thru In Game means. If your scores can not be verified, you will not be eligible. All winnings will be given to the merc as listed, subject to the previous rule. Time is based on website server time, there is a time code posted on the leader boards with each update, this is the time that will be used. The following is the week break down and the score associated.
Week 1: February 1st thru the 7th Support Ratio.
Week 2: February 8th thru the 14th Kill Death Ratio
Week 3: February 15th thru the 21st Support Death Ratio
Week 4: February 22nd thru the 28th Combo Ratio
Prizes are subject to change, mostly if someone donates isk for more to be given away, or if I get more thru the game and have extra to give away.

To qualify for the K/D part, you should have to have a set amount of kills first, or else people will just use their alts and stomp the academy to get K/Ds of +100

It s easyer: I m gonna spawn, kill 1 guy and then hide in the red Line. I wont play for the rest of the week. I ve got 1 kill, 0 deaths that means infinite k/d ratio. Win. |

I can filter both of those, 1/0 is a kdr of 1, because I know how to do proper math :)

No 1/0 is a kdr of 1 in Games because computer cant proper Math (like you apparently :)) but a number divided by 0 is infinite |

Well this isnt the right Place to discuss and my English is not good enough to explain this and to answer your arguments but: if you divide a number by a number that stretch to zero (and dont know the exact verb it means that it is as Near as possible to 0) the result is a number that stretch to 0. If you take a computer and you put 1/1=0,1/0.1=10,1/0.01=100 and so on. The more it is little the bigger is the number you obtain. So divide by 0 gives you infinite.
Anyway this has nothing To do with the game because, you are right, 1k,0d gives you a 1kdr. Any can I suggest one thing for the kdr week? Put a number of kills needed n that week to be eligible to the reward. (my English is bad sorry) |

as I edited into my previous statement, creating an alt and getting x score for a competition is in the spirit of New Eden and will be allowed. However, doing so, will result in greater scrutiny, which may cause their entry to be invalidated.
Also I have had another offer of additional isk, which may push the total prize pool to 165m isk to be split amongst the four weeks. For which I am very happy. :) |

you could sign up another merc, yes, Please don't. The site operates on the honor system at the moment, please don't break the trust. This is the oldest 3rd party tool for Dust514 and has been in operation since august 2012. If you suspect someone's data is not correct, email me. if you think someone is posting other peoples data, tell them to talk to me.
the isk will be sent to the merc that wins, and the stats will be verified thru the client. I can verify if Mercs exist, thanks to the API system, I may not be able to verify it's your merc, but since that's the merc that if they win will get the isk, you really arn't doing anything but helping them really.
Basicly, while New Eden is a place of lieing cheating and evil, there is an understanding with out of game tools, you don't abuse them. they are run by the community lots of hard work is put into them and rarely is it for anything other than helping the community.
