In Eve Online standings are a large part of your character and corporate progression, standings open up spcific agents and missions for the individual, and for the corporation they can if high enough can be used to operate Player Owned Stations (POS's) in high security space among other things. I would like to prepose that something similar be done in dust on the ground instead of in space, 'Merc bases' could be established on high security planets to defend corporate and empire intrests on the planets from things like rouge drones, sansha' nation, or pirate factions. this would be purly PVE and provide a small but stable income for smaller corps unable to participate in PC and real district ownership but would be something the would look into just like one in Eve Online decides to run missions or jump into faction warfare. |

You see eventually, I imagine the options in dust will be much more expansive.
I imagine CONCORD contracts that involve Target Escort or Drone Infestation missions
I imagine NPC Corporation contracts such as siege defense or smash and grab's (corporate espionage)
I imagine High Sec Player Contracts, POCO/Merc Base siege defense and Drone Infestation missions
I imagine Low Sec Player Contracts for POCO/Merc Base siege defence, Drone Infestations, Territory Grab's, Resouce Escort, Smash and Grab's
I imagine Null Sec Player Contracts for everything above and more, Corporation Headquaters assaults, Titan Insertions mid EvE battle, Ground Superiority Missions mid battle
I imagine void space exploration contracts and anything else you can think of.
