Lately I've been regretting choosing Caldari back when we made new chars when D514 went to TQ. I briefly scanned the background info and then went about my business. Over the past year I've come to realise that I'm Minmatar; from the lore, battlefield philosophy and to gear they use. I know that in all reality it makes no difference as I can spec into and use the gear and set Min armor as favorite...but in the forum and at the load screen it's the Caldari dude. I'm really happy with my account, my SP, how I'vespecced and played...it's ALMOST perfect but the fact that I can't align myself 100% with Minmatar irks me some.
If you had the chance, would you change your mercs race and why? Or are you happy with your choice, or indifferent?

I wouldn't necessarily change my race. Gallente are cool. But I would change my merc quarters. I want the Amarr MQ. Need that shiny floor and soft lighting. The Gallente MQ is plain and boring by comparison.
Weird thing is that sometimes I've made alts that got given non racial merc quarters. Amarr alt in minmatar MQs for example.

Wish to change to Caldari. Reading some of the lore, I identify with them more. Especially the " it doesn't have to look pretty, as long as it works" mentality.
Great job, team. Head back to the MCC for debriefing and cocktails.

I'm a fan of Sun Tzu and the Art of War. The use of subterfuge and the indirect method are something I'm down with.
