I'm a solo guy without assault DS SP. Also, I'm not keen on the fact that the dropships that I CAN use auto-level. Well, actually, I do have access to std DS... But they are kind of expensive, considering that they don't do more than allowing me to reach high-up places.

Looking at the video is a pure dose of deja vu with my own flying I've only moved into double digits over the last few weeks of successful landings. Somebody up above suggested Gorgons and I'll second that. With no SP spent in vehicles, you can still fit a decent training platform. For 35,730 ISK and all militia modules, an afterburner in the highs with an armour hardner, light armour rep, and a PG upgrade in the lows, gives a surprisingly durable dropship. It won't handle a redline railgun tank with double damage mods, but the afterburner and hardner gets me out of trouble when I'm using it. As far as I remember it was my flying skills that destroyed 99% of my dropships, with the enemy only getting a bare look in I think enemy AI controlled turrets have blown up more of my dropships than other mercs And before Booker gets here, ya should be glad he hasn't got trees yet. Just imagine having to dodge them on top of everything else.

Just imagine having to dodge them on top of everything else. yeah, id agree with that dude... trees would just make flying hell as for the KD ratio , pilot error and a lack of awareness for others and my surroundings are the main cause, I died 5 times to other mercs in 2 days . I have incubus but i fly a militia gorgon more than anything, sometimes with a CRU. it does suprisingly well, as far as dropships go. u can ban the troll out of the forums but u can't ban the forums out of the troll.
