Okay...more rambling:
HLC Heavy Laser Cannon The forge gun is pretty much like that I think, the size of the blast is like .5 meters, hence how a forge sniper is able to hit from such a far range, but let's put that into consideration when creating the HLC. Instead of short bursting Forge, or quickly spurted beam; a continuous beam, .33 meters in diameter and good for 150m. You get damage equivalent to the portion of the beam on the target, scouts could get hurt by the beam, but not out right killed, since their body is less than .33m profile. Heavies would have the biggest disadvantage since they are fatboys, and it would be easy enough to focus the whole beam on the target. Second, the Damage the laser would inflict would be fairly high, since the amount of energy required to produce a beam of energy that size, also it would heat up super fast. And to build that kind of energy would require a charge time. 2 sec. So the damage of the laser would 15.0 initially, like an ant under a magnifying glass, the heat builds per 0.1 secs by intervals of 0.25 damage. A target hit by an HLC heat to the point of serious damage the longer the beam is held. Last, feedback damage should start after 0.5 seconds, and be continuous draining the users shields by increasing intervals the longer the beam is active until the point of lockup, when the shield is depleted and the user takes 250hp damage. It's very hard to keep a laser on a target for a period of time especially if the weapon is jumping or vibrating slightly. But it could crush vehicles given their size (hitting the broad side of a barn with a pellet rifle). HPG Heavy Plasma Gun It could be worked like the Rifle, except less damage. It would fire semi auto so that the charge function could be utilized, but disperse fairly quickly at 50m. The assault version could be worked in the easiest. The question is the DPS value. Maybe 4000 rpm, doing around 10 points per rnd. or so. HML Heavy Missile Launcher The guy who previously mentioned this, was in my mind a genious for a split secound he thought of it. I could be a giant revolver with 8 rnds per chamber. the damage could be about 250 to 300 direct damage, and 150 splash about 1.5m. The range could be 200 m, or: Macro Missile Launcher, 100 missiles. Either way, you should have the abilitys to lock a target, wether it be infantry or vehicle. KK I'm tired, going back to bed
