[Request] adding latest patch to full game on PS store---- CCP devs

dantE buccaneer PSU GHOST SYNDICATE DARKSTAR ARMY 0	Posted - 2014.01.20 17:18:00 - [1] - Quote is it possible for the CCP devs to add the latest update patch to the full game on playstation store? having trouble to download the latest update for dust! synchronizes up to 2% and fails!! :3 and this has been going on for almost 2 weeks! so i did everything i found in this forum---- but to no avail.. finally decided to contact dust support and i was asked to post my request here! if the devs can do this, i'll be able to download the whole game again from PSstore and there will be no need for an update! i believe this would help MANY gamers out there who ar having the same problem as me! i can see that this has happened a lot! PS. missing my little rail rifle Never give in! Never give up! Never back down!

I too want to see CCP, and all game devs, get together with the publishers who host their games in their online stores to get the download for new users to be pre-patched so that an update isnt needed. I mean really, you download a new game, and then you have to download an update that can sometimes be even bigger than the game you just downloaded, if things changed so dramatically in the first place then just make the initial download the new version.
dantE buccaneer PSU GHOST SYNDICATE DARKSTAR ARMY 0	Posted - 2014.01.21 02:43:00 - [3] - Quote if the game is on disc and u have to download a patch to play online or correct certain bugs, thats a different thing. but i badly need that update, without which i cant play dust! its been goin on for 2 weeks and thats frustrating! :3 and im pretty sure that would have solved the problem! as it is, there were many updates that had to be done AFTER the game was no longer a beta. and when i downloaded it the first time, i didnt have any update to do... which implies that everything was added to the full game on ps store! thats why i was asking for this humble request!:3 but looks like the devs wont be heeding to it.. anyway thanks for the support bro Never give in! By that I mean use a new email address and create a new PSN alias (A new psn character as if a friend was on his profile or something) then get dust and see if you can log on as a brand new player on your new PSN account. IF you are able to that means the problem is most likely CCP`s side. I have heard of this being the problem before. I am going to assume that you have done things like deleted and reinstalled, and all of the other general stuff people suggest here?

No patch download. i know! 1.7 was a BIG update! thats why the vlient on ps store has also been updated! this one is just for fixing a few bugs here and there and adding something new! but still if they could also do this on the full game my problem would be solved.. and many other mercs alongside Never give in! I am going to assume that you have done things like deleted and reinstalled, and all of the other general stuff people suggest here? i know what you mean! i also read that using another psn account many were able to get pass this problem! and believe m i tried that also! :3 i created a new psn acc tried to login on dust! they said welcome to dust etc.. showed the intro! attempts login! synchronizes(im like please please please) then baam!!! doesnt work!! :3 but i guess i'll give that another shot!:) hmmmm i was wondering what if i delete the psn account i was using when i got this problem?? but again if they could just fix it on the full game in psn store... sigh Never give in! dantE buccaneer PSU GHOST SYNDICATE DARKSTAR ARMY 0	Posted - 2014.01.21 13:14:00 - [11] - Quote i also noticed something!!!!! ohhhhhhhh when i downloaded dust from the psstore today, it was supposed to be 2476 Mb! when i checked before starting the game it was 2477 Mb.. doesnt matter.. then i tried to login! again fails at 2% everytime! so after 5-6 tries i checked again! the game was now 2480 Mb!!! :0 like it downloads small broken pieces and keeps adding them to the game! --" dafuq?
