Well if it wasn't, it'd be the only non-full auto rail weapon in the game, aside from the forge gun.
135 damage every .4 sec does sound terribly OP, though.

Yup, pretty much this. The bolt pistol is full auto, and if you look at the image of it and read the description you can see why, but look at that rate of fire. 0.4. That is just a little faster than 2 shots every second. It should be fine. Look at how many shots you can get off in a second with other sidearms and weapons in general.

I am fairly certain that you are right. Full auto doesn't necessarily mean awesome RoF however who would have a full auto weapon that is slower than manually pulling the trigger? Well no one. But this is a game so who knows. |

if you look at the ion pistol, on required skills it says that it needs bold pistol operation, so a typo isnt surprizing

I'm insinuating it is weird rather than OP
It would be like having the standard sniper rifle be automatic.

I hear Ion Pistol is going to have a charge mode, though.
Meanwhile, the Scrambler Pistol made by the charge masters known as the Amarr don't get it.
What's going on?

Yeah but why isn't the ScP automatic then? Will there be a semiautomic sub machine gun (and why)? It's the questions that an automatic pistol brings up.
