Whichever teams gets there first and spams the most uplinks usually win. It is bad bad bad. On most occasions I hate this mode, almost as much as I hate ambush. Skirmish is the only decent mode.
The point cycling thing could fix it, but anything at all that can alleviate it is welcomed.

You know what I am going to reply. I also post in map feedback but it's a damn ghost town that has some hidden gems. Objective cycling (much like Halo Combat Evolved moving king of the hill) would be pretty cool and interesting.
My idea would basically be a rip off of the redzone. Currently, you can not set equipment in the redzone unless it is your redline. Basically make equipment fizzle out in X radius (I would suggest 80 meter with infinite vertical column)
Basically all equipment spam is bad and I see it of all types on domination. There's only one objective so I mean, RE's shouldn't be necessary for a team nor hive spamming it's defense nor uplink spam everywhere and in hard to get places. It's not "clever" it's spam. To say otherwise would be like saying Junk Mail is clever.
Domination is currently a reliance on equipment of all types, though mainly uplinks and especially uplinks. If an area around the objective was considered dead for deployed equipment, you'd have a much more straightforward and less lenient game. I know it sounds radical but really when one objective has your undivided attention, you shouldn't need equipment spam to win.
Now KAGEHOSHI go reply to my Gallente Research Facility request.

-1. Dom is fun, brutal, and very unforgiving. Wouldn't change it for the world.

Why do you think they named it domination?
Quote:dom-+i-+na-+tion noun \-îd+ñ-m+Ö--ên-ü-sh+Ön\
Definition of DOMINATION
1: supremacy or preeminence over another 2: exercise of mastery or ruling power
It presents a welcomed challenge. War isn't fair. It's the only game mode I play. My WLR is ~1 to 1.50, which means it's actually beautifully balanced and unpredictable |

My WLR is ~1 to 1.50, which means it's actually beautifully balanced and unpredictable "War isn't fair" could be used as an excuse to ignore every kind of balance issue, but this is not real life, this is a GAME. For games to be fun there has to be some degree of fairness or one side won't have fun, and there is no point in playing a game if you're not having fun.
A name doesn't excuse bad design. Example: spawning in front of a blaster tank in ambush might fit the definition of an ambush, but its still ******* sucks, and it should not happen in a game.

I like dom and ambush, the action is more centered, for me it's more like practice than anything, skirmish is more boring for me |

I like domination. Grant it, you got teams that seem to not care about the fight. That's when I leave. I'm mostly a domination player. I enjoy its push/pull atmosphere...even when my team is losing.

Only certain maps in domare fun. If the was a way to keep protos out of public matches. That would make doms more even. At the most advanced suits in public matches should keep these fun. Team work is also the key for an extremely fun and bloody match.

Gotta go with this, basically. I want domination to be a fun back and forth situation. As it is, the simplest fix would be to have the point be held for 3 minutes then it goes to another random objective point. (It has to be random so you don't have 12 people waiting on it to spawn). I would play that all day!

If that's the case, you're playing it wrong. |

You cant convince the forum community KAGEHOSHI you'd have better chance with the Devs.Until the mode is an actuality and players try it, most will stick to what they've always known no matter how tasteless and boring it is.
A Strange Game.
