So, after another spur of inspiration I have written my first, actual story for the DUST 514 Fiction community to read, and I dubbed it Failure. It ties in with the report I made previously, so I recommend you read it first before this. But in any case, I tried to do a slightly experimental style of writing, where formatting is also important. Be sure to tell me your opinion on it, and if I succeeded in making an enjoyable story!

I liked the sotry, I like the format, I liked the vaugeness. I would say it feels as though it's missing something but it is also a portion of a series so I am excited to read more

I wasn't really planning to make any following parts to this, it was just a random burst of creativity that tied into the report I made earlier. But when you mention it, making this an overarching storyline would actually be quite interesting. I'll look into it

So, a small update to everyone who is interested to see this become a series:
I've been trying to work on a second entry for about a week now, most of it simply staring at blank pages trying to come up with something. Usually when I write these things when I get some inspiration, which don't happen that often. When I don't have any inspiration, I have a very hard time trying to come up with a story that satisfies my own standards(I already scrapped one full story because I didn't think it was good enough). I might try something more next week, but don't hold your breath.
So until I get some inspiration to write more, I have begun working on a collaboration project with another writer in here, and it's going to be a grand story tying my character's and his backgrounds together. ETA for its release is probably one or two weeks, and after that I could get some inspiration to write more. Keep your eyes peeled!
