Ambush should be renamed into "Hungry Hungry Tanks" and Infantry should be renamed into marbles.
Shield regeneration bonus for Gallente Assault is about as useful as Sharpshooter for Nova Knives.

Hungry Hungry Tanks (a mode where, there are 4 tanks trying to eat the infantry as they run and skrim)

Remind me: why does anyone play ambush?
Even if you're a tanker, the map size turns it into a game of "who can get in their HAV first?"

I don't, I didn't play Ambush since 1.7 dropped.
Everything I know about it's current state comes from my friends who told me how terrible it is and that I should stay away.

Some matches, it will be about two tanks. Then the next match, you have 6 of em and they just run over each other. It's no surprise when you hear that "wurr...wurr" after just 30 seconds of spawning into Ambush.

They should make it TANK DOGDEBALL. Were put each team on either side in an arena, one tank in the middle, an every one makes a mad dash for it. And it has to be hacked. Whoever gets the tank first can troll the other team. And that tnk it the only vehicle allowed, and no one can blow it up unless the other team has the tank.

I played ambush i think yesterday. Had my worst 5 games of the night....
Even went negative in 2 of them,thing that doesn't happen too often...

I don't even attempt ambush unless I have two good tankers with me.
On the subject of subgames.
LAV rodeo. 4 rail tanks in the redline on each side. 2 LAVs in the middle of the map. Give the LAVs 3 seconds to get going before a rail can fire. The first team to blow up the enemy LAV gets an ISK reward. Blue dots ignored. |
