or words to that effect.
Does the subject message come from the game system or does it comes from some merc?
What clears the "Not Getting Involved" flag? Getting killed, firing a shot, moving or what?
I've had that today for the first time and it's somewhat disconcerting so if someone could explain this to me what this means, what causes it and, more to the point, what clears it then I would be grateful.

Thanks, so is the soution to shuffle around a bit?
It came up in a battle where I was, as ever, hopeless outmatched but for once my team had the edge on the reds. It wasn't much of an edge but if we kept two of the Null Cannons then the edge we had would mean that we'd be successful.
I sat down to defend one of ours. Two times a red came to hack the cannon and even though I didn't kill them I managed to drive them off until support arrived. So as far as I was concerned I was more priductive to the team effort doing that than to look for reds.
I took off because of the warning mesage and I didn't get more than fifty yards and was killed. So, as far as I was concerned I was being more 'in the fight' by defending than getting killed.
But if you could confirm that a simple shuffle back and forth would clear the the timer then I would be grateful.

Playing defense is one of the thankless roles but helpful to the team depending on circumstances, if you do it a lot bring hives if you don't already.
Oh and yeah just move around a bit you'll be fine

Bring hives? I've got a cream for that.
But this is something else that I am going to have to read up on. The way that I am shooting now, lobbing a pot of killer bees hoping to get one into a red's suit may be one of my best options to cause damage.
Thanks for the tip. Am off to read some more words.

Just one merc defending a lonely objective can keep it from flipping. You won't earn a lot of war points for it but it can win the match. Its good to be in a low profile suit and wait until they start hacking and then surprise them. Knives, shotguns and remote explosives help too.

You were doing a good job. I'm often left alone in pub matches defending one single objective. Just move around. You don't have to move very far (even an inch), which is often recommended regardless. Little shuffles. If you get in the habit of idleness, you're cream of the crop for sniper fire.

Remote Explosives (REs) are a good beehive.
I tend to use a shotgun scout with REs and will place them around the objective and then go patrolling for uplinks. |
