This just an idea. In BF4, you have
1] Primary weapon AR shotty etx
2] Secondary weapon usually a blow stuff up type weapon
3] Sidearm usually a handgun/pistol
4] That sharp thing that you stab things with
OK, here's the idea part. I know completely different game etc etc, just an idea but, we are futuristic awesome clones,
and I think, I could be wrong, we should have the same basis of the uhh, weapons slots type thing.
1] Two light weapon slots- the first would be an AR or shotty sniper rifle etc
2] Could equip a mass driver or a plasma canon
3] could equip a pistol or smg
4] would be the knife of your choosing
Since were getting more race-based weapons and more variants I think this would be an idea at least considered. Just an idea.
And of course you can switch it up with what weapons you use and stuff.
Oh, and you can just have one weapon, so you don't actually have to equip a bunch of stuff just to use our character.
I'm trying to work out the PG/CPU stuff as well a equipment slots and grenades. Its a start would greatly appreciate feedback.

I'll say that if you had a zero high/low slot modulesuit with zero equipment and no grenade slot THEN I would accept a suit that had 4 weapons slots but I would still never +1 it. |

Its not that it isn't a bad idea... its just that it isn't a good idea for a game like Dust. Fittings and suits are supposed to matter, and if every suit could have 3+ weapons, suit choices just wouldn't matter as much...

4 weapons no equipment or nades.... I mean having 4 weapons plus armor plus shields plus equipment plus grenades, is a lot. For certain suits yeah but you gotta have a grenade in there. Its a idea haven't worked out all the other stuff yet.

Yeah your right. I'm just throwing it out there. It would also depend on what suit your equipped with, its just a idea but the balance is gonna be out the window even more with this.

If we had plasma cannons as an equipment slot I'd be 100% ok with the Flaccid genital weapon they are now. |

^^^ Funny as hell, but they could be useful. I use one on my Commando, the reload speed bonus helps out to a fair amount. But the blast radius is so small, and I have absolutely no idea WHY they would give that thing such a LONG ASS range when they say it's a close-range weapon. Albeit, it's VERY fun to use it on that map with the giant crescent pipes leading to the tower in the middle on Domination.  As for the weapon slots, I vote no. Unless clones have some anti-matter storage space in the console on their left arm(As seen when hacking or using remote explosives), it'd be a little too unrealistic to lug around four different weapons. Can you imagine every soldier in real life doing that right now? They'd probably get shot because they were too slow to take cover...

Ah, but you gotta think, in the lore it says that everyone was reduced to the dark ages when the gate closed to Earth. SO...in rebuttal to your statement, I don't quite think that a "Storage Space of Total and Complete Pwnage and Awesomeness" would be quite possible...YET.

No problem Exodeon. And Mollerz not a standard, you don't HAVE to equip the knives. It is a slot specifically build for it but you don't have to equip it.
