You're forgetting about the complex shield energizer for a shield recharge rate of 80 per second, to get back into the fights that await around the next corner.

Those are not very original/complicated fittings.
I dont understand why you have to make a Thread about simple fittings like those.

Get rid of the regulator and scanner (why the hell do you need a scanner, the suit was built for scanning) replace with comp range amp and whatever in the Eq slots. You'll be scanning at 54m with a scan precision of 31 dB. If the med frame profiles stay the same then it'll take two dampeners (one complex one basic) to beat your precision.
Also you will never have to mess with a scanner no switching, no spinning, no waiting, no getting caught with your pants down, less CPU/PG consumption, more useful equipment.
This is by far the superior build.

Seems like a fun speed brawler fit. I run a similar fit to your first one currently on my minnie except -1 shield extenders and remotes.
Lose the scanner you're a scout. Your passive will be good enough.

A scanner on a Cal scout, you say? You know, at level 5 Caldari scout and level 5 range amplification your passive scanning range is 37.5 meters (no modules!), which is plenty to alert you of all enemies that pose an immediate threat to you (others you can run away from).
Personally, I would use my second equipment for something else.

I would sub at least one extender with a complex precision enhancer and maybe even another with range amplification and skip the scanner and go RE. And sub the regulator with a complex dampner. |

theres so many more useful mods out there for a scout besides HP buffs

Im personaly thinking of going proto Gal scout, with 2x damage mods, complex profile dampener, 2x plates, 1x reactive plate, and breach shotgun. Insta kill some poor fool then disapear. Not a great fit, but it will be like sniping at point blank range, very low chance of gettign killed if done right. |

gallente scouts passively push below adv scanners and maybe prototype, I'd have to look at the numbers though. ditch the damp.

I add Active scanner for scout to find people further away from me and for equipment destruction, regulator stays because a 2 sec delay is like having a 50 HP extender on 3rd second (Precision enhancer is pointless if I have a good situational awareness within 30 meters). Come on people step up
