It's annoying. The real reason tanks became so accessible is so they can gather data from more than the top 20 tankers and the random militia tank every fifth game piloted by a newberry out of the academy, the same way scouts are being made more rewarding this build and for the same reason. I highly doubt that tanks will be re-nerfed. They are creating a mirror image of 1.0-1.6 in 1.7, so that in 1.8 and beyond the can work on finding a middle ground. Usually I have my forge gun in so I'll position the tank so that when I jump I'm not in the line of fire then use the tank as cover while I forge pop em. Works most of the time. You may want to look up the "No True Scotsman" fallacy as it's something you're guilty of quite a bit. A tanker is someone who uses tanks. It's a diverse group of people containing people with many levels of experience. As far as I'm concerned a blaster madrugar is always the flavor of the month. I do five times better even in a madrugar with basic mods and a missile than my gunnlogi. Tanks are fine right now, with modules and fitting requirement... May be not Soma and Sica but Maddy and Gunis are fine... The problem is the AV. It's no where near close to taking out a Proper Maddy or Guni. Not saying one should Solo a fully loaded tank... But it shouldn't take 6-7 guys either..

I'm pretty sure most people using "tanker" are just referring to players that mostly spend time in a tank. They may be sucky tankers but they are still tankers. Your elitist definition is arrogant and betrays the intended meaning of the term by 90% of those who use it.
