Everything thing is OP because someone is doing better than I am; this needs nerfed, that needs nerfed, he, she and it needs nerfed too. If none of this happens in the next patch IGÇÖm going to throw my toys out of the pram and quit the game, but still hang about on the forums and complain about everything.
TL;DR :: What is wrong with the people in this game?

Perhaps this kind of logic would be good if the game had more then a few thousand playing. Perhaps we should be like you and watch the game keep dying?

Posting to confirm that everything is OP.
Weapons and turrets are OP: the damage of everything should be reduced by 10%.
Dropsuits and vehicles are also OP: the HP of everything should be reduced by 10%.
Then we will have balance.

Certain things in this game certainly need adjustments.
It is not very eve like nor is it at all what I expected that a railgun (rail rifle) can perform so well at range [Like it is suppose to] and then barely have a downside in CQC.
In EVE rail weapons have their place at range but would be decimated up close by blasters. In DUST - this doesn't happen.
I think I am going to start counting what weapons kill me in the future. |

you say all this, yet instead of playing the game, which you supposedly enjoy so much, you make your own attention seeking thread, you hang out on the forums, you complain about the complainers complaining, why bother? |

Eh. About half the things in the game are OP. This includes but is not limited to:
Racial Rifles. The elephant in the room, these weapons oftentimes greatly outperform niche weapons in their own niche. I use 2/4 of these rifels on a regular basis, for context.
Medium Frame suits. They have no obvious drawbacks to their use, and have so many advantages to using the instead of other suit classes. Recently, the Heavy suit has gotten up to their level, but light frames still lag far behind in terms of usability and effectiveness. Honestly though, it would be easier to just buff light frames than nerf medium frames, because there are vastly more med frames than light frames in the game and CCP would only get player backlash for nerfing meds, but would get praised for giving scouts some love.
HAVs (especially Blaster HAVs). Nothing else in the game is more efficient at killing infantry, while at the same time being more resistant to as many weapons as it is. They have no drawbacks other than that they cannot hack.
The Redline. There is no easy answer to this problem. However, it is still a problem that has been exploited 1000s of times a day, every day, for the last few years. It destroys the tenets of risk vs. reward and is very unhealthy for the game as a whole.
My suggestion? Make the areas near a teams redline easily defendable and easier to advance out of, then get rid of the redline. This would help prevent one team from completely dominating, and get rid of places where you don't have to put yourself at any risk and still reap the rewards from it.
There are a few others, but I don't want to make too big of a post...
