Dual Complex Armor Reppers are OP. Let me lay this out
The Ishukone Assault Forge Gun with Proficiency 4 and two Complex Heavy Damage mods does 2025 Damage every Three seconds for 12 seconds for a total of 8100.
2 Complex Armor Reppers with Max Armor Repair Systems 5 repairs 362.5 Armor a second.
So that is 1087.5 Armor Repaired in the three seconds between each Forge Gun shot, cutting the Damage from the Forge in half to 937.5
So in 12 Seconds a Forge gun effectively does 3750.
Now that Forge Gun as to reload, meaning that there is a 7 second delay between it's next shot giving the tank enough time to rep 2537.5 Damage.
This is outrageous and I am made a thread about it. |

Couldn't agree more. Forge guns don't do much these days anymore except for use against bad dropship pilots and picking off infantry every now and again.

Vehicles are designed to require team work to destroy, though some fittings are weak enough to defeat solo. Nothing broken here. Team up with others to kill an annoying HAV. Not hard to do.

Yes, it's how things are meant to be. Tanks should obviously regen faster than anti-vehicular weapons can damage them because anti-armor weapons obviously aren't for fighting armor.

Tanks focused on Reps die very quickly to other tanks, I'm not arguing for it, but that's what it seems to be at this moment. They get rinsed by AT Tanks, but shrug off AV.

If they are trying to survive the infantry attacks, yes. Remember - it weakens them against other vehicles. Your sarcasm seems to be forgetting this part of what he said.

Lets be honest here guys - brutally honest.
The only reason as far as I can see that... A) Swarms were nerfed - at least range wise - only because of the dodgy rendering or should I say LACK of rendering out at 3-400m.
B) Forge guns I feel were primarily nerfed because of what they were doing to infantry.
I dont see this as actual balancing, more like a band air for problems in the game. Same as aim assist was a band aid for hit detection. HD is still very bad. Many times I get shot around corners or even through solid objects. (I am talking solid walls here not little railings and such) |

I'm a tanker myself nerd, Vehicles should require A GOOD OPERATOR to survive.
In Battle Field a bad tanker got popped, a good tanker did not.
Tanks should require skills to Operate and Skill to kill. |

Forge guns and other infantry AV are basically for sneaking unexpected dps against a tank when another tank has it pinned down. Infantry isn't primary dps it's the extra dps. |

This is outrageous and I am made a thread about it. First off, IIRC the efficacy against armor is 110%, so doing the math the damage is 2200 damage a shot to armor 1800 to shields. Secondly, to get Proficiency 4 means you have Operation 5 which makes the charge time 2.25 seconds. This means the HAV heals 815 armor between shots. The play by play.
- 0 Shields, 3250 Armor. Reps to 4000.
- 1800 Armor. Reps to 2615.
- 415 Armor. Reps to 1230.
- 0 Armor.
There is no damage mitigation on the 4th shot because it is dead already, never make subtractive mitigation at the end of a time cycle divisive.
TTK is 9 seconds at fastest. 6.75 seconds to react from first shot impact to last.
They are mostly OP due to the time period it takes to get off a full clip to kill the tank and hardeners that can go up once the first shot drops the shields/a bit of the armor to stall out your clip and out repair you. MLT Forge Guns and such are practically useless, too. This is all by memory, so hopefully none of the numbers or skill effects are wrong.
