Probably a shield generator the little cylinders on the front and back on the inside edges of the tracks are the shield generators (the gunnlogi has more then the maddy naturally) i havnt looked at the armor tanks that closly but those two things in between the tracks on the gunnlogi are dead ringers for entry hatches
