The Night Vale medical board has issued a new study indicating that you have a spider somewhere on your body at all times, but especially now. The study said that further research would be needed to determine exactly where on your body the spider is and what its intentions are. Only that it is definitely there and is statistically likely to be one of the really ugly ones.
Just thought you guys should be aware.

Nope not me.
Just got myself a monkey to pick bugs off me all day.
The PC and SL should fit into the Sidearm slot so it's accessible and practical to carry one.

I'm not much of a biologist, but I love science.
Would love a link (also, shouldn't this be posted in the locker room?) |

aren't lice and mites part of the spider family? hardly seems like news to me, humans are covered in bugs and bacteria.
Random point of interest: Viruses aren't alive, I found that amazing. |

In related news, thereGÇÖs a real tarantula problem here in Night Vale. Many residents have called in to report that illiteracy, unwanted pregnancy, and violent crime are on the rise in the tarantula communities. Animal control is addressing these concerns through after school programs called GÇÿTeach a Spider to Read. Stop the Madness.GÇÖ

Lice are insects, while spiders and mites are arachnids. Regarding viruses, it's sort of an edge case whether they can be considered alive or not. I'm a scientist! (but not the kind that deals with arthropods or pathogens)

I thought it was an accepted fact that we have bugs crawling on our skin all the time? Well...very TINY bugs, but then again it's all about perception.

Viruses are an intelligent form of non-life. Absolutely fascinating work of evolution. The most abundant "organism" or "lifeform" on the planet.
I wonder if the exist in New Eden?

I've always though of them as a type of natural nanobot that uses DNA as its memory bank. Is that accurate?

I'm absolutely certain that they do. Bear in mind that people in New Eden came from Earth initially. They would have carried viruses with them. Vitoc is actually an example of a virus I believe as well.
