Hey Crowd Controllers
If a corp paid some Aur, would it be possible for that corp to be able to advertise their corporation to other mercs? Now I don't have this idea fully realized but we all know about the screen in the MQ. Maybe if mercenary payed some AUR, they can have a recruit ad run on these screens, on randomly selected MQs.
From my experience, I only know a few ways I can recruit. Through the forums, while doing battles and sending recruit ads through in game mail, Squad Finder and lastly word of mouth.
But I was thinking that I only hit a small portion of the playerbase and wondered if there was a way I can broadcast our enlistment ads to other mercenaries.
Let me know what you think about this.

Maybe not air. But maybe we can have a tab in the neo com called corp ads. Pay 10 mill to advertise your corp for 30 days. LFC ppl can look through it and choose. Like if u agree

But 10 mil is not a bad idea though. I only thought AUR because of the request of advertising it on MQ screen or maybe the Update screen.

Michael I like your idea of allowing players to advertise inside every merc's living quarters. I'd have only one adjustment:
That huge vid-screen in our quarters plays a vital role in the Eve Online game; capsuleers use it to access missions from the Sister of Eve, and a small variety of other things that we Dust players tend to do from our NeoCom instead.
If more "community" based subjects could be pulled OFF the Neocom, and inserted on the vidscreen (StarMap, Leaderboard, the tutorial videos, Corp/player Search, and YES a player-posted Corp Recruiting billboard entity of some kind), it would give more justification to spending time in the ambiance of your racial living quarters, and more justification to the LEFT side of the vidscreen (which right now just shows a loop feed of some logos from Guristas, etc.)
Anything that emulates EVE ONline's components, but puts a spin on them to give us our own exclusive 'Dust' version of them, gets my thumbs up. |

Like buying a Global message , maybe a small aur amount per message and be able to set you message to air every 30 minutes or what ever interval you would like ( you buy all the messages you want to post outright. example you buy 20 messages at 50 aur each to air every hour. not just for corp recruitment you could advertise a bounty an event, shoutouts, call for help, or recruit.

I like that idea. I immediately thought of news channel when I read your post. That would be great to change up the monotony in the MQ. Plus it gives you a reason to check the screen often. Thanks for your contribution!

How about when you open the corporation tab in the neocom there's a tab in that one that's called "Corporation ads"

Your idea combined with Celesta's sounds real good. The matter of intervals needs to be discussed.
