That's... not too expensive. At an equivalent 4M per hour playing DUST, and if DUST is supposed to be the poor cousin, even in converted terms...
Pretty reasonable.

got a tengu and it costs about 600-800 mil ISK
a macharial is about 1 billion
and a marauder is 1-5 billion ISK
people who play it don't waste time with a cheap ship.. rather have a ship that can clear most level 4`s in 20 minutes or less so that your hourly income is 50-300 mil for rewards bounty and loot.
and a gunnlogi in dust is 97,500 ISK, on the market in EVE its that same amount.
so there is no difference in ISK between the 2 parts of the same game. |

300 mil an hr is way steep. I'd wager that very few ppl in EVE actually make this much consistently.
I determined person probably makes 30 mil an hour.

No one runs lvl 4 missions in a frig unless it's for sfits and giggles. The efficiency just isn't there if your goal is to make isk. |

ya a good level 4 like angle extravaganza is about 3-4 mil from agent, 20+ mil from bounties, 4th rooms implant loot drop is 100k to 15 mil plus loot and salvage.
and to finish it alone is usually a good hour.
but as i stated the cost of a tank is the same in both games.. no conversion done to the isk.
what will happen when cross game isk transfers happen will be there will be a tax applied for isk moving from EVE into DUST. And CCP has stated there will be a fee of some kind applied on EVE to DUST isk transfers, what how much etc is still in the works.
and there will probally be set limits on transfers, cause lets face it if CFC, PL, BL, russian coalition, whats left of TEST start to get involved with their enormous bank roll the game will be dramatically changed.
but as is now... a tank costs the same, and if/when we can just buy in eve for the same price and then just do a player transfer of assets and isk the game will be changed there as well.
in a fleet doing level 4's you can complete more per hour but the real money for PVE is in incursions. |

Conversion is tough.
My newbie miner with about 2 hours worth of skills was making a million or two an hour mining in High Security space using a Mining Frigate. Guys with two accounts doing Mining Barge + Ore Hauler can eat entire asteroid belts up like a coach potato vs. a bag of chips. Talking with a miner in EVE, she mentioned that she could pay for her three accounts in 1-3 hardcore days of mining, which is around 1.5-1.8 billion isk.
I haven't played seriously in a long time but my CNR was able to do about 60 million an hour just looting the battleships and not salvaging. The new and improved Golem would probably put that to utter shame nowadays, doing far greater DPS and being able to salvage and loot as they kill with those sexy 4 free High Slots.
When I was in Vegas for the convention, I overheard an EVE freighter pilot talking to another guy who was thinking about getting into the business. When asked about how to deal with suicide gankers, he stated "just don't carry anything worth more than a billion and they generally won't bother trying." The conversion for EVE is probably hard to figure out as the difference between the hardcore and average DUST player money per day is likely minimal given the same amount of time played but serious EVE money makers are utterly insane. |
