CCP please consider the chance to buff at least swarm lock-on range back to previous 1.7 patch, not asking to increase the damage as well if you think that would be OP its fine, but please give us a reason to have spent so many SP to skill it, as far as now AVers feel impotent against vehicles and that is too much unbalanced and frustrating. If you dont believe what I'm saying then you devs take a chance in any battle and try to destroy some vehicles. You'll figure out I'm 100% right and that nerfing AV so much has been a really bad idea. |

It's funny how when ppl talk about "AV" it's always swarms. Also getting 400m lock on is definitely a no, with how weak drop ships are you'll make them even more useless if you got the range back. If you're having trouble killing a vehicle try hitting it when the disco lights are off. And don't talk about unbalanced and frustrating, the vehicle users went from 1.0 to 1.7 in underpowered vehicles. You just got used to the 2 hits then boom from the earlier builds. Trust me it's fine right now, if you think this was bad I wish you were there in chromosome. |

you hardly ever used to see tanks. simply because one swarm launcher on a hill would vape any foolish enough to try to do anything except hide in the redline. tanks are beatable by swarms you just cant solo them now. which is how it should be. |

vehicles are better in 1.8 not because of the AV nerf, they're much faster,powerful, good rep rate, smart and simple, I believe you're enjoying them now, but try to get your ass out of your tank and use a swarm launcher. So why don't you try a forge gun, packed AV grenades, remote explosives. Hell even try a jihad jeep. Forget your swarms.

If you have at least 2 friends with Wyrikomi Swarms (3AV troopers), you can usually surprise wtf pop a tank. You have to be coordinated, so if you're solo (running with random n00bs), you're better off running a suicide LAV (don't forgot your milita speed boost).
There will be bullets. ACR+SMG

I've stayed with tanks since chromosome and I plan to stay that way. Just cause you can't solo a tank doesn't mean it's underpowered. Also tanks are faster yes but, they're weaker than before ( less hp and loss of turret variants). Also rep rate c'mon it's a freaking tank it should be repping faster than infantry. We got nerfed to hell and used underpowered vehicles from 1.0 to 1.6 . We're just paying back for all those frustrating matches of a single wyrkomi swarm keeping us at bay. If you can't damage idk maybe you should try hitting us when our modules are down or change tactics.also now you know how tanks felt since uprising. And yes I am enjoying ripping apart the av that was overpowered last build. Also it's not as hard to destroy tanks as you say, if me and my buddies see a tank, you know what we do? We go to a supply depot pull out a plasma cannon, blow up the tank and switch back. |
