1) Mottaini Japan can go suck my epeen
2) holy **** my HP melts like ice in Hydrochloric acid
3) hit-detection issues. Lots of em
4) scanners are funny to bait
5) is it me or do you actually slow down mid-air while being shot at?
6) wondering how I should allocate my ~2.5 mill SP
Any suggestions?

ermm... If you haven't noticed 75% of matches are won due to rail rifles keeping opposition
100m from objectives.... ehmm if you want sleazy kills buy a MLT tank no need to waste SP there
but maybe you are a decent player, who doesn't fall into the
'oh well, I can't beat em so ill join em' category .....
In that case get yourself some RE and go fight the good fight my brother

A-holes using rail rifles. While hipsters like me were using ScRs to keep 'em at bay

Not really sure but ScR still not registering hits even though I see blue shield flash

Also fell right in front of a Gunloggi who proceeded to attempt and run me over but failed, while I was praying for a Sica near it to fire at it. While under it, the tank proceeded to pass through me, pushing behind like poop.
All the while that tank was idle
It was only when I climbed back up the bridge, did it fire at the enemy tank. Is this normal?

@ 3) - Yes I find that too sometimes, especially when we start talking about bullets that seem to go around corners and through what looks like actual cover - solid metal and stuff.
@ 5) - There has been a lot of talk about this, especially from scouts. It appears that when you are shot you do get staggered and or slowed down. Its very annoying.
Not only this - currently there are one or two bugs with sprinting, both leave you unable to move fast or sprint. CCP said they are working on this.
@ 7) - Well test a few of the new things out, level 1 in the Combat Rifle and Rail Rifle is not much in the way of skill points and I think you will like them. Otherwise I suggest saving up that SP! It may come in very handy in the near future / next few months time. |

tankers used to be a the equivalent of dragons,
a legend that no one really though too much of, until they came to life and went 40/0
In 1.7 these dragons have lost the pure blood due to mixed breeding
What we see now is deformed reptiles, and snakes getting EZ WP

All the faction items also function like Aurum items in that they can be used from the tier below, meaning only lvl 3 needed to use PRO gear.

IGÇÖd advise you to try and get used to the game, learn the new maps and improve your gun game.
Invest in an advanced Rail Rifle - Scoped SB-39 - it only costs 136,800 SP to skill into. Its a fully automatic long ranged gun which does massive damage to shields. Here is ist ranges:
Optimal Range - 68m
Effective Range - 92m
Absolute Range - 250m
(It has exactly the same ranges as the Assault variant, which I think is currently borked)
A new patch is being released next month 1.8 or something else; which is coming with 5 new racial suits, a massive skill rebalance, some new equipment and 2 new weapons and maybe more! So what IGÇÖd advise you to do with your remaining SP is save it until those new items are released... THEN you go and spend all your SP!

I thinking tanking is not a closed profession for people who get it, its another part of the game you can choose to play or not.
Moralising elitist words are just farts in the wind.
I recommend everyone give tanking a try, expecially if you like eve ship to ship combat, some of the best fights Ive had have been multiple tank battles. You die, but tanks are cheaper than most STD/ADV fits so there no reason not to do it.
Enjoy it while you can, tanks are probably going to get reworked again. (Either tanks or weapons that affect them).

Got my RR to level 3 the moment I logged in. Couldn't aim jack-**** with it. Ended up switching back to my ScR

I agree. If you notice my first post gave him a tanking fit as close to god mode as you can get in this game. I was simply stating a fact. Once the FOTM players learn what to do and get enogh practice then that will change. |

Figure out the play style you want to play and spec towards that. Don't worry about what's OP or UP right now, this game changes significantly fairly often.
In short, play whatever way you find the most fun.
